These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the KM Automations platform and website (the “Service”), operated by Express Business LLC (“Express Business,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
KM Automations provides automated client document intake tools designed for law firms. We may modify, enhance, or discontinue features of the Service from time to time.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
The Service is intended for business use by law firms and their authorized personnel. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Customer Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you or your clients upload to the Service;
- You must obtain any necessary consents from your own clients before collecting their information through the Service;
- You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and professional obligations.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- Reverse engineer or copy any part of the Service except as permitted by law.
5. Customer Data
As between the parties, you retain all rights to the data you and your clients submit to the Service (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to process Customer Data solely to provide and support the Service. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Text Messaging (SMS)
What the messages are about
KM Automations sends text message reminders about the documents needed for an immigration case. If you opt in, Express Business LLC may text you to say which documents are still outstanding, to let you know a document we received was unreadable and needs to be resent, to confirm that a document arrived, and to tell you when your intake checklist is complete. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How to opt in
You opt in by entering your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on our website form, or by giving your number to a participating law firm for this purpose. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchasing anything from us or of receiving legal services from your firm.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with activity on your case. While documents are outstanding, expect roughly two to five messages per week; once your intake is complete, the messages stop.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier's standard rates for text and data still apply.
How to stop the messages
Reply STOP to any message from us to unsubscribe. You will get one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and then we will not text you again. You can start receiving messages again at any time by opting in again.

Carriers and delivery
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message will arrive.
Mobile opt-in data and consent are handled as described in our Privacy Policy and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
7. Fees
Fees, if applicable, will be set out in a separate order form or subscription agreement between you and Express Business. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable.
8. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to protect the other party's confidential information with the same degree of care it uses for its own confidential information and to use it only as necessary to perform under these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Service is a document management tool and does not provide legal advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Express Business will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Express Business from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your Customer Data, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease, and provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
